Win for Radio Verulam at the Mayor Pride Awards
Radio Verulam won an award at the 2015 Mayor Pride Awards for its volunteering activities and for overhauling its studios - a task that involved many volunteers dedicating hundreds of hours to refurbishing the community radio station.
The winners of the annual community event were unveiled at a ceremony last week, with awards also going to testicular cancer campaigners, a long-serving city milkman and a disabled community event.
