Interview with Zoe Urrejola from Open Door St Albans

This morning Phil interviewed Zoe Urrejola from Open Door St Albans.

The Open Door night shelter opened at 8 Bricket Road, St Albans in November 1993. St Albans City & District Council leased the building at a peppercorn rent to the Open Door Trust, and St Albans and District Churches Housing Association were appointed to manage the project. In 2003 responsibility passed to Hightown Praetorian & Churches Housing Association, following their merger. By then the services offered also included a Day Centre.

Open Door have provided help and shelter to over 7,500 different homeless people in the St Albans area and continue to be open every night of the year.
